We continue our three-part series discussing Dr. Julian Kunnie’s book, The Cost of Globalization: Dangers to the Earth and Its People. In this installment Julian talks about the effects of globalization on Indigenous peoples and cultures. We debunk the myth of eco-tourism improving and expanding the economy in the so-called “third world,” the nefarious objectives of entities such as the Peace Core, and how/why Western culture is projected as universal to maintain Western hegemony. We also talk about the decline of industrialism and the effects of globalization on women in much of the world.
Part 2 provides essential insight into understanding the full ramifications of globalization on the world’s population.
